Some unidentified men martyred a police constable today on Quetta’s Raisani Road, in another alleged attack on law enforcers in Balochistan.

The attack took place as the constable, identified as one Naseer Ahmed, was going back home after finishing the day’s work. According to reports, he died on the spot and his killers escaped the scene.

Police rushed to the site after receiving information about the incident.

It is becoming very common in Quetta for militants to target security officials, along with religious minorities.

A suicide attack in Quetta last week that left five policemen dead which was later claimed by the Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan, who said that the target of the attack were police officials.
