Whenever there is a meeting between the PM and the Army Chief, the seating arrangement looks as though they are meeting for the first time and serves only to get their pictures taken! This kind of seating arrangement is normally reserved for a meeting between foreign counterparts with their delegates. In an ordinary meeting the PM should preside over the meetings with COAS seated in a row, like the seating arrangement of the cabinet ministers. Hoping the staff of the PM secretariat, and the PM himself, will look into this absurd aspect of state administration.
