KARACHI - Muthahida Quami Movement (MQM) and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) submitted applications against each other at Darakshan police station seeking to register First Information Report (FIR) against parties’ chiefs Altaf Hussain and Imran Khan.

According to details PTI Karachi Chief Ali Zaidi along with PTI leader Faisal Vawda filed an application requesting to register FIR against MQM chief Altaf Hussain. Zaidi while talking to the media outside the police station said that Altaf Hussain’s recent speech against national institutions is condemnable. He said that the Rangers are taking action against criminal and terrorists element without any discrimination while MQM that has been crying over action has no right to collect any kind of aid, zakat and fitra and forcibly collection should be ended to relief citizen.

On the occasion PTI leader Faisal Vawda said that paramilitary force Rangers has played a key role in restoring peace of Karachi adding that most of the arrested target killers have confessed of getting trained in India.

Meanwhile, MQM’s leader and Member of National Assembly Ali Raza Abidi along with Abul Hamid Advocate and other party leaders filed an application requesting FIR against PTI Chairman Imran Khan at the same police station.

Ali Raza Abidi said that Imran used derogatory words against Pakistan armed forces during a discussion providing a copy of the video to the police.

They said that PTI wants to conquer Karachi adding that Imran Khan and other PTI leaders were involved in corruption of various natures. “MQM will also lodge cases against Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Federal Minister Khuwja Asif and PPP co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari,” he added.

Moreover PTI leader Dr Arif Alivi has urged British government to take notice of MQM chief Altaf Hussain’s speeches against Pakistan army and paramilitary forces.

He was talking to the media after submitting a memorandum in British High commission again MQM chief Altaf Hussain at Karachi British consulate on Wednesday.

He said that MQM Chief uses abusive language against the armed forces and disrespected and dishonored countless sacrifices made the army especially during the recent global war against terrorism. PTI in the memorandum to the British High Commission has pointed out the speech of MQM chief who is using safety of British nationality and soil to express such hatred against Pakistan armed force and Rangers, he said adding that party has urged the British government to take immediate action to stop the hate speeches and initiate criminal proceedings against Altaf Hussain should be initiated.
