The Rock shares Instagram video of twisted finger

DM NEW YORK - While Jimmy Fallon finally gave details on his finger injury last night, a true action star quickly outdid him in the comedy department.  Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson shared a video on Tuesday of his finger, which was bent horizontally to one side, after an apparent accident on set. But the clip was in fact a prank, according to TMZ, as the bent finger was actually a prosthetic for his new movie Central Intelligence.  ‘Alright, just stepped off set,’ The Rock began in his short video as he claimed that the director asked him ‘Are you bleeding?’ ‘I said bleed? I got time to bleed,’ the action hero said as he revealed his fake hand with a twisted finger. The wrestler-turned actor was dressed in camouflage trousers and a fitted vest as he smiled through what must have been agonizing pain.

The actor was filming for his new movie with Kevin Hart, Central Intelligence, set for release on 17 June 2016. Meanwhile, Fallon was forced to take a two-week hiatus after he injured his hand in a freak accident at his home in New York City on June 26. But on Monday the 40-year-old returned to his Tonight Show desk as he opened his late-night program by explaining what exactly caused him to recover for 10 days in the Intensive Care Unit at Bellevue Hospital.
