People in general expect and exhort Supreme Court to give verdicts against the ruling class, if found corrupt, but they don’t seem to remember the fate of the Chief Justice, who was attacked by a mob and then ousted through intrigue for offending the ruling class. Those who did all this are still healthy and strong! Later on, the Chief Justice and judges were ousted by a military dictator for not submitting to his wishes but they were eventually reinstated with public support and, also, of the army on the quiet. So now the question arises whether people and the army will protect the Supreme Court, in case of verdicts against the powerful ruling class, and judges will be safe after retirement? Who will protect whom?
