At least 3 people dead and over 25 people have been injured including 2 children in an explosion in a hotel near Gulshan Market in Multan here on Monday.

According to CPO Munir Masood, the nature of the explosion still uncertain. However, according to witnesses, it was a cylinder explosion. 

The explosion caused physical damages to the nearby buildings and cars as the windows were shattered and the roof of a building collapsed. According to the reports, some people were still trapped in the building.

Rescue operation had been carried out by police and rescue teams shifted the injured to the hospital for treatment.
