KARACHI (APP) - Sindh Minister for Transport, Akhtar Hussain Jadoon called on Co-chairman, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Senator Asif Ali Zardari to inform him about the problems of his department, at Bilawal House here on Saturday evening. Sindh Minister informed Asif Zardari about the problems of the poor families whose earning associated with the two-stroke rickshaws. Provincial Transport Minister was briefing the media about his meeting with PPP's Co-chairman Asif Zardari at his office here. The Minister has also got approval from PPP's Co-chairman for conversion of around 70,000 two-stroke rickshaws into four-stroke CNG ones on government expenses. Sindh Minister also discussed with the Asif Ali Zardari about conversion of new diesel buses with the cooperation of owners into CNG buses in second phase. Akhter Jadoon told the newsmen that Asif Zardari has given phase-wise approval of both the projects. During his meeting with the Asif Zardari the Sindh Minister also gave him suggestion to name the Machar Coloney after Shaheed Mohatarma Benazir Bhutto, on which, he said the PPP Co-chairman agreed and approved the suggestion. Sindh Minister Akhter Jadoon said that it was an honor for his constituency PS-89. He said that Kemari General Hospital will be built on a piece of land measuring about 25,000 yards, in Kemari Town and a Shaheed Mohatarma Benazir Bhutto computer institute will also be developed in the Town. Asif Zardari has also approved both the projects, he apprised. He said water provision will be ensured to Machar Colony and Muhammadi Colony while Sikanderabad colony and Machar colony will be given lease. He said that he also informed Asif Zardari that reason behind the non-provision of Gas supply to the Machar Colony is non-issuance of NoC by KPT Chairman. Akhter Jadoon said that the for implementation of all these project PPP Co-chairman has invited him to Islamabad.
