KARACHI - PPP Sindh Chapter has decided that 54th birthday of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto would be celebrated with simplicity on 21st June 2008 in the province. It was decided in the PPP Sindh Executive Committee meeting held on Sunday under the chair of Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah on Sunday at the CM House. PPP Sindh Secretary General Nafees Siddiqui, Pir Aftab Shah Jilani, Agha Siraj Durrani, Makhdooam Jameeluz Zaman, Jam Saifullah Dharejo, Syed Faisal Raza Abidi, Manzoor Wasan, Waqar Mehdi, Abdul Salam Taheem, Ayaz Soomro and other Sindh Council members attended the meeting. It was decided on the occasion that the ceremony to celebrate 54th birthday of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto would be held on 21st June at Larkana, in which especial prayers and Quran Kahwani would be held for the departed. Sindh Chief Minister, central PPP leaders and ministers will participate in the ceremony. It was also decided that other programmes in connection with the event would be organised in Karachi and other parts of the Sindh while on 29th June, a huge gathering would be held in the city under the leadership president PPP Karachi Division Syed Faisal Raza Abidi. Speaking on the occasion, PPP Sindh President and Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah paid glowing tributes to Shaheed Chairperson Benazir Bhutto and vowed that the party would take all possible measures to fulfil the dream of the late PPP leader. He added that PPP believes in good governance and would provide relief to the masses.
