After increasing incidents of target killing in Karachi, the Police and Rangers conducted raids in different areas of the city and have arrested more than 24 suspected people in connection with the killing. According to a private TV channel, the police and Rangers teams comprised on CID and Special Investigation Unit conducted raids in areas of Orangi Town, Baldia Town, North Karachi, North Nazimabad and other areas. The arrested people belonged to Sipah-e-Sahaba, Jaish-e-Muhammad and ISO. The channel while quoting sources said that illegal arms were also recovered from four arrested suspected people and inquiry about recent target killing in Karachi is underway from the arrested people. According to sources, the arrested people are involved in suspicious activities and face imprisonment in different cases.
