An internet website (www.world-mayor.com) gives award of the best city mayor and has been doing so for the last 6 years. It has nominated some 840 mayors for the title of World Mayor 2010. More than 118, 000 citizens voted for these 840 mayors. The result was based on the number of nominations and quality of work of these city mayors. The organizers of the contest selected 25 mayors from across the world out of which one person would eventually be selected as the World Mayor 20120. I was proud to see the name of former City Nazim Karachi Syed Mustafa Kamal among the top 25. I hope and pray that Mr. Mustafa Kamal wins this title to be acclaimed the number one mayor in the world.
