Drizzling turns weather pleasant

LAHORE - Weather remained pleasant in the City on Tuesday due to scattered light rain, overcast conditions and continuously blowing winds. Experts have forecast partly cloudy weather with chances of dust raising winds and scattered showers for the City during the next 24 hours. Light rain coupled with cloudy and windy conditions helped maintaining the maximum and minimum temperature to a comfortable level. On Tuesday, maximum and minimum temperature in the City was recorded 35 degree Celsius and 26.5 C respectively. Relative humidity in the morning was recorded 44 percent, which increased to 51 percent in the evening. Major parks and picnic spots in the City attracted a large number of people including women and children in the evening. Huge rush was witnessed at Bagh-e-Jinnah, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Racecourse Park, Jallo Park, Lahore Zoo and other picnic spots in the City. According to the experts, westerly wave still persists over upper and central parts of the country. On Tuesday, Kohat received 05 mm rain, Dir and Drosh 03 mm each, Gilgit and Zhob 02 mm each while Lahore, Chitral, Bunji, Chilas, Pattan, Rawlakot, Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar, Dagar and Khanpur received traces of rain.
