LAHORE Frontier College Club put up impressive display in front of their fans when they routed Striker Club in Group-D (Pool II) match of Third National Women Football Club Championship at Frontier Women College, near Qisa Khawani Bazar, Peshawar City. Later on, United FC thrashed Spark FC 10-0 in same Group. Spearhead Rabia Imam proved too menacing for keeper Kulsoom and defenders who were playing for Striker Club. Under Gohar Zamans coaching Frontier led 2-0 at interval and struck five in the second session. They opened scoring through Aisha in the 11th minute and it was left for Rabia to notch four goals in fine display of striking ability. She netted in the 23rd, 42nd, 47th and 63rd minute. Aisha added her second in the 41st minute and it was left for winger Anila to round off the tally with free-kick goal. In another match at same venue, three hat-tricks were recorded in Spark FC-United FC clash that ended 10-0 in favor of United FC. Striker Hina struck four goals in the 3rd, 7th, 15th and 66th minute while other hat-trick makers were winger Rubab (11th, 41st, 60th min) and midfielder Faiza (21sr, 23rd and 39th min). Earlier, Fatima Club defeated Model Town Club 2-0 in the third National Women Football Club Championship (Lahore Phase) at Punjab University-Old Campus, 1 Cust Road. Near MAO College. Skipper Sania opened scoring in the 21st minute and Sobia Sultana doubled the lead in the 32nd minute.
