Islamabad- Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain extended his support for the military operation in North Waziristan and hailed it as a good omen for the country.

Talking to former Interior Minister Senator Rehman Malik on the phone, Altaf Hussain praised the government and the armed forces for taking this initiative and urged all political and religious forces to present a united front against rising terrorism and the action taken by the state and its military. In response, the former Interior Minister praised Altaf Hussain’s clear stance on extremism and deemed him to be a role model for all politicians.
