Cannibalism

Many cases of cannibalism have emerged recently. It is a taboo in all cultures and religions, including Islam. The shocking case of the two brothers in Punjab, who were found guilty of cannibalism, after they were found eating corpses that they had stolen from a local graveyard was ghastly. They had reportedly dug up and devoured around 150 bodies before they were caught. A police search on April 14 revealed the head of a 2 year old boy who had been buried in a nearby grave.
Both are married and have children, but their wives abandoned them when they came to know that their husbands were cannibals, and their children were also afraid when they heard the news. These are not the first cannibals in Pakistan. Pakistan has no law against cannibalism. I think it is time we tried to find the reason for this increase in cannibalism and made some laws to eliminate this from our society.
