LAHORE Chairman PIAF Sohail Lashari has called for political harmony to overcome the issues being faced by the economy and the country. He was addressing at a meeting of Lahore Township Industries Association (LTIA) here on Tuesday. Chairman LTIA Haroon Shafiq presided over the meeting while PIAF Senior Vice Chairman Nadar Kamal Osman were also present on the occasion. Sohail Lashari said that countrys economic situation was being aggravated with the every passing day. He said that in the 1960s, Pakistan was role model for developing countries but today was far beind. He said that Bangladesh was on the track of economic development due to friendly economic policies of the government and turning into the textile tycoon while our textile industrie was being shifted to the other countries. He said that a few years ago, Pak rupee had the upper hand on the Indian rupee and Bangladeshi Takka but today situation is quite different. Indian and Bangladeshi currency is more valuable than the Pakistans.
