NOOPUR THAL - PML-N Youth Wing Tehsil President Malik Abdul Ghafar Jasra said that concerted efforts were needed to keep peace and steer the country out of the crises.
Addressing a public gathering at Pelowanis Chowk on Friday, he said before the partition, the Muslims of the sub-continent were slaves of British, but now they had been made slaves of the United States and the West.
He alleged that the PPP-led government had failed to give relief to people and “is busy in loot and plunder.” “The country is engulfed in conspiracies and only a courageous leadership can overcome such crises through free and fair elections,” he claimed The Punjab government served the people with dedication despite worst opposition and difficulties from the federal government, he added.
He alleged that the federal government adopted a discriminatory attitude towards Punjab with regard to electricity distribution in spite of the fact that the rate of payment of electricity bills in the province was much higher as compared to other provinces.
PML-N local leader Malik Ticka Khan also addressed on the occasion.
