PTCL launches corporate SMS service
ISLAMABAD (PR): PTCL has launched an exclusive Corporate SMS Service, first-of-its kind in Pakistan.
The service is a complete bulk SMS management system which manages SMS campaigns and offers built-in controls to send web to phone messages to any mobile operator in the country.
This service is being offered through a simple to use web based interface enabling corporate customers to log-in from any internet enabled device (computer/laptop/smart phone/tablet) and communicate instantly with individuals or groups via bulk text messaging.
The web based Corporate SMS management control panel offers easy-to-use interface which entails a web based SMS editor, campaign scheduler to schedule messages, address book, reporting module to view delivery acknowledgements, history of messages sent and controls to prevent possible security lapses.

Emirates SkyCargo honours agents
KARACHI (PR): Emirates SkyCargo, the freight division of Emirates, presented its top cargo agents with special achievement awards at dedicated events held recently in Lahore and Karachi. These awards recognized the important role of cargo agents and forwarders in contributing to the Emirates SkyCargo’s success during 2013.
The Mr Obaid Al Kaabi, Second Secretary of the UAE Consulate, attended the Karachi ceremony and distributed awards with Mr Khalid Bardan, Emirates Vice President for Pakistan and Mr Faisal Yaqoob,Emirates Cargo Managerfor Pakistan.
“It has been a challenging yet rewarding year for Emirates SkyCargo. I am grateful for the continued support of all our cargo agents and would like to thank them for their contribution and for delivering such a consistently high-quality performance,” said Mr Bardan. “Emirates SkyCargo operations in Pakistan continue to register a strong performance with load factors increasing over time, indicating Pakistan’s strong potential for continued growth in cargo and we look forward to an even better performance in 2014. I would like to thank all my colleagues for their fantastic efforts and congratulate all our winners,” he added.

Pakistan’s top 100 miracle workers launched
KARACHI (PR): Pakistan’s top 100 Miracle Workers was launched in Karachi to celebrate 100 accomplished women across Pakistan. The core idea behind the movement, sponsored by global beauty brand Pond’s, was to consistently highlight accomplished Pakistani women who juggle with the demands of their professional careers, maintain a home and bring up children with grace and style day in and day out. The launch event, held at elegant Café Flo, unveiled the top 10 miracle Mentors, who were voted for via email and in a poll led by SUNDAY magazine. A Miracle Mentor is defined as one who has successfully juggled the twin challenges of motherhood and vocation, while looking polished and chic. The Miracle Mentors who were present at Café Flo spoke of how pleased they were to be a part of this new endeavor to showcase the women of Pakistan.
