CHILAS - At least five Rangers officials sustained injuries in a terrorist attack on Basar Rangers' check-post in Chilas on Sunday. Over two dozen militants mounted an assault on a paramilitary check-post. The sources said that at least 30 militants attacked a Pakistan Rangers position in Bhasha area located between Diamir and Kohistan. The injured officials were moved to Combined Military Hospital Rawalpindi for treatment. The sources added that all the militants managed to flee. Security forces cordoned off the area after the attack whereas a search operation is underway to nab the terrorists.

Moreover, no terrorist group has yet claimed responsibility of the attack.
