Islamabad – Therecord of around 284 polling stations of NA 122 constituency of Lahore was shifted to Islamabad today for verification through NADRA.

According to media reports, the record has been moved to NADRA on the request of Pakistan Tehrek-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan, who had challenged National Assembly Speaker AyazSadiq’s win, contending that the later won due to massive rigging.

NADRA will verify the finger impressions of the voters to countercheck bogus votes. The record was shifted to Islamabad under the supervision of a returning officer, a police official and a PTI representative.

Earlier, the PTI chief had requested the Election Commission of Pakistan to recount votes in several constituencies alleging that ballot boxes have been stuffed with bogus votes.
