Teachers demand upgradation of services

KHYBER AGENCY - The teachers of state-run school staged a protest rally against the government for not up-grading services of the Khyber Agency’s teachers.
The teachers staged a protest demonstration in front of the Landi Kotal Press Club under the auspices of All Teachers Association. The protesters who tied black bands around their hands were holding banners and placards inscribed with slogans like, ‘upgrade services of tribal teachers,’ delay in up-gradation unacceptable’ etc. During his addressing, All Teachers Association Landi Kotal President Shariefullah said that the services of teachers of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have been upgraded. However, he said with lapse  of three years, this right has not been granted to teachers of tribal belt. He asked the Member National Assembly (MNA) of the constituency to raise the issue on the assembly floor.
