The political consensus by all the leading parties on the nomination of chairmen senate is a positive gesture at a time when country demands serious, sincere and devoted efforts. Our civilian and military leadership is in the final phase of battle against terrorism. So it should be appreciated that our leadership avoided procedural political differences. Election procedures are healthy democratic signs; however, the recent Senate elections, marred with the rumours of horse trading, were wisely handled which warded off allegations by showing sincere effort.
