ISLAMABAD (APP) - The export of mangoes kicked off with the first shipment to Doha, Qatar, on Saturday. According to a private TV channel, Pakistan Horticulture Development and Export Company Bashir Hussain was the chief guest at a ceremony organised to mark the export of the fruit in Karachi. The first shipment to Doha consisted of 1200 kilogram 'Almas Aam of Tando Allah Yar. Pakistan would export seasonal fruit worth $500billion to Iran, Afghanistan, Doha, SArabia, UAE, Kuwait, Jordan, Lebanon and Syria, adding the new markets of Japan, Sri Lanka, Korea, England and Holland would also be explored.
