I would contest next general polls: Musharraf

Former president General (retd) Pervez Musharraf announced that he would surely contest the next general election in Pakistan. Addressing the first ever meeting of his newly-formed political party - All Pakistan Muslim League in London, Musharraf said that multiple challenges are facing the country as both PPP and PML-N failed to govern the country, and added that he decided to join politics on being forced by people. He maintained that politics should be above personal interests and added that he would return to the country and would face the circumstances bravely. The meeting, which was held at Musharrafs London residence, was attended by over 50 people including Barrister Saif and Rashid Qureshi.
