ISLAMABAD - Taking suo moto notices on abduction of two girls from Rawalpindi and DG Khan, Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry directed PPO Punjab to submit a report in this regard within 10 days. In their applications to Chief Justice, Razia Bibi, a resident of Rawalpindi, stated that some unidentified persons had kidnapped her daughter while Muhammad Khan, a resident of DG Khan, stated that accused persons forcibly abducted her sister on 06.10.09. According to details, Razia Bibi, lodged FIR against them but police neither arrested them nor recovered her daughter. She prayed for recovery of her daughter and justice. Taking notice, the CJP directed PPO, Punjab to recover the abductee and produce her before the district and sessions judge, Rawalpindi for recording of her statement and who shall submit report within week. Muhammad Khan also lodged FIR that accused persons forcibly abducted her sister on 06.10.09. However, police did not take any action against accused persons to recover his sister. He prayed for recovery of his sister and arrest of culprits. Taking the notice CJP directed PPO, Punjab to submit a report in this regard within a period of ten day.
