‘PPP govt tarnished Pakistan’s image’

SADIQABAD - Former adviser to the Punjab chief minister Mian Imtiaz Ahmad said that the PPP-led government has tarnished the country’s image at the international level by committing record corruption during the last four years.
Addressing his party leaders and workers at his residence, he was of the view President Zardari and Prime Minister Gilani had been fighting for exceeding each other in looting and plundering for the last four years.
He added that the PPP gave nothing except deprivation and crises to the people and the party which chanted a slogan of Roti, Kapra aur Makaan had snatched meal from the mouth of the people.
He said that the federal rulers were spending national exchequer like their parent’s property.
He said that his party would recover each looted penny from the rulers, adding that only PML-N would form new provinces.
He was of the view that the PPP was continuing the policy of dividing the nation by ignoring their problems.
He said that the formation of South Punjab and Bahawalpur provinces would cause end to the local people’s deprivation and lead to regional prosperity. He held the PPP responsible for the present crises.
He urged the people to join hands with his party leadership to steer the country out of crises and to make the PPP a deterrent example for corruption.
