Traders demand expo centre in Rawalpindi

RAWALPINDI - President Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI), Javed Akhtar Bhatti, has demanded of the government to establish an expo centre in Rawalpindi region to promote the local industry.
He said that Expo centrr was the first and the foremost demand of the Chamber.
He stated this while chairing a meeting in the Chamber here on Tuesday. Group Leader Najamul Haq Malik, Senior Vice President Raja Amer Iqbal, former Presidents and members of the executive committee were also present on the occasion.
Jawed Bhatti said that RCCI planned to organize 10 single country Expos in the SAARC countries to endorse the local products. He said that chamber has the vision to organize an International Industrial Expo in the City but there is no place for such purpose. Bhatti stressed the need of an expo center in the region to promote the business activities.
Speaking on the occasion group leader Najamul Haq Malik said that Rawalpindi Chamber from the day first work very hard to facilitate the business activities in the region and the same sprit would be continued in future.
He felicitated president RCCI for his successful efforts to arrange 10 single country Expos.
