LAHORE - Punjab Cycling Association Wednesday awarded cash prizes to its female cycling team for producing encouraging results in the National Cycling Championship. The National Cycling Championship was held here last month in which Punjab female cyclists showed their class in the event and won the top honours for their province. To acknowledge their achievements in the national premier women cycling activity, PCA president Ch Kamran Amin organised a reception in their honour. The PCA chief not only appreciated them on winning laurels for the province but also awarded special cash awards to them. The women cyclists who received cash prizes were Alvina Mustafa, Romana, Zartasha Malik, Maryam, Rida, Zunaira, Nimra while team coach Qaisar Siddique Bhatti also received his award. –Staff Reporter
