An English daily advertised initiating a drive against illegal hydrants in Karachi. The residents of Dalmia Road, would like to inform the authorities that an illegal hydrant has been installed at main Dalmia Road, adjacent to Bahria University, which is a nuisance for everyone. Tankers are parked daily for refilling over there. The Minister Local Government, Sharjeel Memon and KWSB should keep their word and order this hydrant closed immediately to save the road and prevent water loss as the tankers are creating craters in it. This is our water which is stolen and re-sold to us! Kindly allow this water to flow in main lines. I would like to request the government to conduct inquiry as to who has allowed this hydrant? We believe that this drive will conserve more water for Karachi.
