LAHORE - Saeed Bin Nasir, Kamran Husssain and Gulraiz Sadaf played out for nearly the entire day to hold Punjab for a draw from Balochistan on the fourth and final day of the RBS Pentangular Cup match here at the Gaddafi Stadium on Saturday. Balochistan facing an innings defeat after being followed on, kept its nerves to play out the whole day to manage a draw. Resuming its second innings at 42 for 2, Balochistan went on to score 330 runs for all and in the process took 75 runs lead. Besides, they reduced Punjab to 17 for five in 3.3 overs in its second innings. Punjab which scored 526 in its first innings, saw four ducks and a single by five of its players while Mohammad Hafeez made 13 and Mohammad Salman two when the day was called off. Asad Ali and Kamran Hussain shared three and two wickets respectively. Earlier, Nasir made 119 off 150 balls and was supported by Kamran 58 and Sadaf 48 that made a lead possible for Balochistan. In their second innings, Shoaib Khan 20, Usman Tariq 20 and Saeed Anwar 22 were the other contributors. Mohammad Hafeez got three wickets while Mohammad Talha, Imran Ali and Wahab Riaz got two wickets each and Abdur Rehman had one.
