PESHAWAR - Preparations for Pakistan People’s Party workers convention in Jolagram area of Malakand on November 18, 2012 are in full swing.

The event will be held at the residence of provincial Finance Minister, Engr Muhammad Humayun Khan, which will be addressed by KPK, PPP, President Anwar Saifullah Khan besides provincial and district level office-bearers and leaders will also speak on the occasion. It is expected that certain prominent political figures of the area would resign from their parties and announce joining PPP.

The local party leaders during the consultative meeting in this connection held at Jolagram the other day, called Engineer Muhammad Humayun Khan as “Father of constructions” for his unprecedented developmental works. They added that the services of his family for the overall development of District Malakand were crystal clear and would be remembered for long. 

They also thanked the party-leadership for appointment of Engineer Humayun Khan as Provincial General Secretary and hoped that with his sagacious leadership and dynamic role, the PPP would gain further popularity. Resultantly, the PPP would become victorious with overwhelming majority. The speakers also termed the personal influence and experience of Anwar Saifullah Khan as a good omen for party.

They reposed full confidence in the leadership of PPP Khyber Pakhtunkhwa President, General Secretary and other party office bearers and assured all out help and support to them.

Meanwhile, in order to boost relations and find trade opportunities, a high ranking delegation of Iran, led by Engineer Hossein Sadiq Aabedeen, Governor General of Fars, is arriving at Bacha Khan International Airport, Peshawar, on November 17 (tomorrow).

It would be the first ever visit of a high ranking delegation of Iran to KPK province, will have a refreshing impression in the development of relations of the Iran and KPK Province.

The delegation will meet KPK Governor Masood Kausar and Chief Minister Ameer Haider Khan Hoti to discuss different fields of mutual interest.
