PESHAWAR - In order to discuss issues relating to electoral alliance or seat adjustments and Karachi situation, an Awami National Party (ANP)’s think tank will hold its meeting today (Friday) in Islamabad.

The think tank’s meeting will take place at Pakhtunkhwa House with ANP Chief, Asfandyar Wali Khan in the chair.

A number of significant matters would come under consideration, which included either to have electoral alliance with new political parties or intact the existing one, besides discussing seat adjustment option as well.

Moreover, the think tank is likely to finalize an option among that mentioned above, under which, party would evolve a new strategy for contesting and getting maximum seats in coming polls, it has been learnt. 

Talking to The Nation, ANP KPK Secretary Information Malak Mustafa said that it was a significant meeting as future electoral alliance, seat adjustment, party manifesto and Karachi situation would come under consideration.

The meeting would also review statements issued by PPP KPK leadership again ANP-PPP alliance in the province.

It has also been learnt that ANP was seriously thinking that in case, it say goodbye to the PPP, the JUI-F would be the best option either to have electoral alliance with or have seat adjustment.
