JHANG - At least five people were killed in different incidents occurred in separate parts of the district over the past 24 hour.

As per detail, five people killed a 40-year-old man over old enmity here. The outlaws including Umer Hayat, Sikander, Ashraf, Zafar Iqbal and Ahmed, residents of Chak-171/JB beaten Allah Ditta, a resident of the same locality severely with clubs.

He sustained critical injuries and was taken to hospital where he breathed his last.  The reason behind the murder is being said to be a year back deceased filed a dacoity case against the culprits.

The Mochiwal Police have registered a case against the culprits.

In another incident, 18-year-old youth was killed over a petty issue in a local fair.

As per detail, festival of Pir Talib was held at chak-198/JB situated in the remit of Bhuwana Police. Safdar and Waqar quarrelled over an ordinary issue. Waqar became furious and with the help of his friend Tahir opened indiscriminate fire on Safdar, killing him on the spot.

The police have registered a murder case.

Meanwhile, a father axed to death his 12-year-old son Tahir a suburbs of Bhuwanwa over a petty issue. The Choki Jameaabad Police reached the spot and arrested the accused.

Similarly, a speeding truck crushed a bike-rider on Jhang-Shorkot Road near pull Meran.

Ghulam Hussain along with his wife Naseem Bibi and son Tahir were going on a motorcycle. When they reached Pull Meran a speeding truck coming from opposite direction hit them. Resultantly, he died on the spot and his wife and son received serious injuries. They were admitted in nearby hospital. The Waryam Wala Police have registered a case

Meanwhile, a Faisalabad-bounded passenger bus, on the way to Multan crushed 14-year-cycle-rider Muhammad Ishaq near Madoki in the remit of Satellite Town Police.
