KARACHI - The government of Sindh under Section 144 Cr PC has imposed ban on wall chalking/graffiti on the walls of private and public property containing controversial, hatred material, debasing holy religious personalities of Islam throughout the province with immediate effectThe order has been announced in order to avert any mishap, unrest, untoward sectarian incidents and to maintain law and order during the month of Muharram in the interest of general public. The police officers from the rank of Assistant Sub-Inspector of concerned police station are authorised to register complaints under Section 188 PPC in writing for the violation of Section 144 Cr PC against violators of the order.Meanwhile, Commissioner Hashim Raza Zaidi has directed concern authorities to remove hurdles from Lyari Expressway as soon as possible and handed over to National Highway Authority (NHA) for completion the mega project. While talking to the media during his visit at Lyari Expressway, Commissioner said that the government has allocated Rs8 billion for signal free journey to citizens through the mega project.Zaidi added that along with contribution of other organisations we will complete the project within nine months and the project will be handed over to the NHA in January 2013 after the completion.Commissioner said effected people of project are around 30,011 people. Government has compensated to mostly effectees and rest of them will be compensating in near future.Brigadier Basim Saeed Commander of Frontier Works Organization (FWO), Lieutenant Colonel Kareem from FWO, Mujtaba Memon Project Director of National Highway Authority (NHA) and other concern official were also present on the occasion.  Meanwhile, Quran Khwani for Dr Sehto was held at Lyari General Hospital. More than 500 people attended the Soyem. A meeting with Secretary Health and Special Secretary Health was held. Dr Samrina Hashmi, Dr Mujtaba Memon, Dr Nawaz Mullah and Dr Khadim MS Lyari, Niaz Bhutto President Pakistan Paramedical Association and Nurses Association attended the meeting. Doctors’ security issues and Compensation issues for Dr Sehto’s family were discussed. Health Secretary Aftab Khatri promised to beef up the security at all public Hospitals of Sindh. Doctors’ promotion issues as well as New Jobs at Junior level were discussed. The meeting was further planned on Saturday. The one hour token strike will continue till then the Health commission Bill is not tabled on the first day of Sindh Assembly session despite of all promises. We will announce further line of action tomorrow after the 2nd day of assembly session.
