LAHORE – PTI Chairman Imran Khan on Thursday condemned the Israeli air strikes on Gaza, which killed six Palestinians including top Hamas commander Ahmed Jaabari and has asked the international community to intervene to stop Israeli raids on Palestinians.

In a press statement, he said that the killing of the innocent Palestinians in such a manner were the blatant violation of the fundamental humanitarian principles, while the international community’s silence on such incidents was highly disturbing for the Muslim world.

He urged the Pakistani government to mobilise diplomatic efforts on urgent basis to play its role in stopping the potential genocide of Palestinian Muslims, while asking for the international human rights organisations to fight against the Israeli raids on the Palestinian community.  Meanwhile, PTI local leaders had alleged that PML-N leadership was equally responsible for the current state of affairs in the country.

Calling the PML-N as party of the G. T Road, they claimed that they would give a tough time to the province’s ruling party in the upcoming general elections.
