KARACHI - Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon on Thursday said Pakistan Peoples Party has nothing to do with the ‘guard of honour’ to former president Gen (r) Pervez Musharraf but it was Musharraf’s own show.“No government or PPP representative and no officer attended this guard of honour. Even PTV cameraman was not there, but one private Tv channel,” the Minister said while talking to media outside Sindh Assembly Building here at the adjournment of the session. He said that those who were taunting PPP for giving guard of honour to Pervez Musharraf were very much obedient and cooperative to him. They even welcomed and supported Musharraf’s wrong decisions/actions, he alleged. He strongly condemned the opposition members in Sindh Assembly for adopting “negative, non-parliamentary and unruly attitude” during the Sindh Assembly session while protesting on new local government act. He urged the opposition to maintain the decorum instead of creating chaos in the House.Meanwhile, parliamentary leader of PPP in Sindh Assembly and Senior Minister Pir Mazharul Haq on Thursday moved a resolution in the House to condemn the “negative and non-parliamentary attitude” shown by the Opposition members. The resolution was passed unanimously by the House. Speaker Sindh Assembly Nisar Ahmed Khuhro was chairing the session. The resolution said that the Opposition members wasted precious time of this august House. They torn and thrown to the ground the documents/files placed Ministers’ desks, used abusive language against MPAs and Ministers. The House should strongly condemned the Opposition for their non-parliamentary and unruly attitude, it said.
