The Chief Minister of the Indian State of Bihar, Nitish Kumar was on a three day official visit to Pakistan with a delegation of ministers, lawmakers and senior officials. He landed at Karachi airport where he was received by Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah and some senior members of his cabinet. Supporters of Pakistan People’s Party (jiyalas) were present in large numbers to welcome the Indian guests with banners and placards.

One huge banner that I noticed on television footage carried a spelling mistake in the word Chief Minister. Chief was spelt as C-H-E-I-F instead of C-H-I-E-F. Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah and his so called senior cabinet members were present at the airport, but no one bothered to notice and have the banner removed, knowing that now we are on world screens and this would be shown all over the world. Our merit of education was quiet evident and our carelessness.
