Students visit Aiwan


LAHORE - The students of CDG Girls High School Kot Khwaja Saeed on Thursday visited the Aiwan-i-Karkunan-i-Tehreek-i-Pakistan to attend Aghi programme of Nazaria-i-Pakistan Trust (NPT). They also visited the Pakistan Movement Gallery on the occasion.
Also, mobile ideological units led by their coordinators visited Sir Syed College for Boys Walton Road, Government Girls High School Custom Colony, Government F D Model High School Garden Town, Government Girls Model High School Barkat Market, CDG Girls MIDDLE School Islam pura, CDG Girls Middle School Sanat Nagar, Government Islah-e-Muashrah High School Shad Bagh and Government Islah-e-Muashrah Primary School Shad Bagh respectively.
The institution heads presided over the ceremonies in the said institutions. In their lectures, they lauded the NPT’s role in disseminating the Two Nation Theory to the new generation. 1196 students and teachers were the beneficiaries of the NPT’s aghi programme.
SPEECH CONTEST: The NPT conducted a speech contest among college and university students regarding 135th anniversary of Allama Iqbal at the Pakistan Movement Workers’ Trust. Government Islamia College Cooper Road’s Rabeea Shabbir stood first, while Maria Ghaffar second, Nabiha Arshad third and  Lubna Ameer got fourth position. While among boys, Muhammad Ejaz stood first, Muhammad Amir second and Jawwad Sayyad Abbasi got third position in the contest. Prizes among the winners will be distributed on November 29 at the Aiwan-i-Karkunan-i-Tehreek-i-Pakistan.
The Trust will also organize 6th death anniversary of Asaam Muslim League Secretary and Tehreek-e-Takmil Pakistan Founder and Federal Minister Mehmood Ali on 16th November (today).
Nazaria-i-PakistanTrust Chairman and TheNation Editor-in-Chief Majid Nizami will preside over the ceremony. Mehmood Ali’s role in Pakistan Movement was laudable especially in 1946 elections and Silhat Referendum. “We will not compromise on Kashmir issue” were his last words.
