Rawalpindi/Islamabad - Police under its ongoing drive against anti-social elements have arrested 14 lawbreakers, including four suspected dacoits, and recovered 2,305 grams hashish, 11 bottles of liquor, two 30-bore pistols with four rounds and a 12-bore repeater with three rounds from them.
According to police, Banni police held Farhan Ullah for having 540 grams hashish. Khalid Mahmood was booked with 515 grams hashish. Gujar Khan police netted Usman for possessing 580 grams hashish. Kalar Syedan police nabbed Farah Naz for carrying 670 grams hashish.
Airport police arrested Ahmed Minhas and recovered five bottles of liquor. Rizwan Zafar was sent behind the bars for having six liquor bottles. Shakeel, Muhammad Yousaf and Faisal were arrested for having illegal weapons.
Meanwhile, Wah Cantt police acting on a tip-off raided Basti area and netted five suspected dacoits namely Tanveer, Tahir, Basharat, Shahid and Jibran who were allegedly hatching a plan to commit a dacoity. Police recovered five 30-bore pistols with 25 rounds from them.
Meanwhile, CIA police have arrested 11 men and women from a brothel being run in sector G-11 of the federal capital.
According to police, CIA police received secret information about a brothel being run in G-11 flat by a woman under the patronage of alleged Ramna Police station. CIA police raided the flat and arrested eleven persons including seven women. According to police, the woman running the brothel was bringing girls from different districts and was making them do this heinous business. The police have registered the case.
