Islamabad-Ramana police have arrested two thieves and recovered valuables from their possession, a police spokesman said on Tuesday.

He said that SHO Ramana police station along with police team netted two thieves who are identified as Asif Iqbal and Faisal Javed. Police also recovered six mobile phones and three laptops from their possession.

They have already remained jail birds and further investigation is underway. SSP Islamabad Sajid Kiani has appreciated this performance and directed all police officials to intensify efforts in resolving the cases.

Meanwhile, Islamabad police along with Pakistan Rangers and other security agencies conducted search operation in various areas of Tarnol and Secretariat police stations and arrested 11 suspects.

According to details, officials of Islamabad police, Pak Rangers and other security agencies conducted search operation in areas of Tarnol and Secretariat police station including sector D-17, Kamalul Pur and their adjacent areas.

During this search operation participated by police, heads of Secretariat and Tarnol police stations, 11 suspects were arrested and more than 100 houses were screened.

Police recovered one 30-bore pistol from a suspect while all suspects have been shifted to police stations for further investigation.
