Islamabad: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has summoned a written reply from Capt (Retd) Safdar, the son-in-law of Nawaz Sharif, till 22nd November in Disqualification Reference.

According to media reports disqualification reference against Capt (R) Safdar, son-in-law of Nawaz Sharif, PTI’s Chairman Imran Khan, Secretary General Jahangir Tareen and Talal Chaudhry was taken up by ECP.

Neither Capt (R) Safdar nor his lawyer appeared in the court during the hearing of reference.

The Chief Election Commissioner expressed displeasure over it and directed Capt (R) Safdar to submit his written reply till November 22 in disqualification reference.

The hearing of the case was adjourned till 22nd November.
