Eid Milad security discussed

KHAIRPUR - SSP Captain (r) Azfar Mahesar chaired a meeting with the clerics of Barelvi sect here on Wednesday in which security arrangements with respect to Eid Miladun Nabi (PBUH) were discussed. On this occasion, the SSP assured the clerics foolproof security during their rallies, and other Eid Miladun Nabi (PBUH) related programmes. He said that security would be beefed up by deploying extra police contingents, installing walkthrough gates, CCTV and Drone Cameras. “The Bomb Disposal Squad staff would remain ready while the areas would be searched with the help of sniffer dogs,” the SSP said, and added, “Barbed wires will be installed while police pickets will be set up at the entry and exit points of venues of the events.”

The meeting was attended among others by Syed Sardar Ali Shah, Syed Ashiq Ali Shah Jillani Deh Sohoo, Provincial chief of Ahle-Sunnat (Barelvi) Syed Javed Ali Shah, DSP Pir Jo Goth, Syed Abdul Qadir Shah Jillani (Organiser of Ahle-Sunnat Barelvi), members of District Peace Committee and others.
