CNG price deregulation policy lauded

ISLAMABAD (APP) Central leader of All Pakistan Compressed Natural Gas Association (APCNGA) Abdul Ghiyas Paracha Thursday said the CNG stations are operating under the deregulation policy, which is benefiting consumers.

All the outlets are selling the commodity at competitive rates, surrendering their profit margins to get maximum business, he said while talking to APP.

“The CNG outlets decide themselves the gas sale price to consumers in different localities, minimizing their profit margins under the deregulation policy announced by the government one-and-a-half-year back,” he said while responding to a question about disparity in sale price at CNG stations operating in Islamabad and Rawalpindi.

He expressed confidence that the CNG industry would soon revive due to effective policies of the government.
