Punjab Governor Chaudhary Sarwar and Chief Minister Usman Buzdar called on the President Dr Arif Alvi in Lahore on Friday.
The three, belonging to the ruling party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, discussed important political affairs and administrative matters. The Punjab Chief Minister apprised the President on the performance of the provincial government.
This meeting comes just days after the Punjab CM, provincial governor and PML-Q leadership was called to the federal capital by the Prime Minister Imran Khan after a video was leaked on media.
In the video, a PML-Q leader can be heard speaking to Jahangir Tareen and requesting the PTI leader to ‘control Sarwar as he would not let the chief minister continue.’
