KARACHI Khawaja Kashif and Ghalia Mohsin won mens and womens single titles in the Majeed Khan Memorial Table Tennis Tournament which concluded at Islamia Club Karachi here on late Thursday evening. Kh Kashif beat M Usman 4-2 while Ghalia Mohsin beat younger sister Maliha Khursheed 4-2 in the finals. Abeera Ali annexed the girls under-18 single title defeating Iqra Saeed 3-0. Boys under-18 singles title went to Tabish Khursheed who beat Mustafa Ali 3-0. Deputy General Manager Brand Management PSO Babar Hashmi presided over the prize distribution ceremony. Director Darul Sehat Hospital Farhan Chishti, Chairman KTTA Dr Farhan Essa, Arif Nakhudda and international table tennis player Arif Khan were also present on the occasion. Results: Singles (finals) Boys under-18: Tabish Khursheed beat Mustafa Ali 11-3, 11-6, 11-4. Girls under-18: Abeera Ali beat Iqra Saeed 11-9, 11-5, 12-10. Womens singles: Ghalia Mohsin beat Maliha Khursheed 11-7, 12-10, 11-8, 9-11, 10-12, 11-5. Mens singles: Kh Kashif beat M Usman 11-5, 11-6, 7-11, 11-7, 8-11, 12-10.
