Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) President Qazi Anwar said the present parliament is bogus and the statement of Federal Law Minister Dr. Babar Awan against the judiciary is deplorable, report said on Saturday. Addressing the session of General Body of Rawalpindi District Bar, he said Supreme Court (SC) is the emblem of Pakistan judiciary and now a new challenge with new government designs has surfaced for the lawyers. The lawyer fraternity of Rawalpindi, in a bid to express solidarity with the higher judiciary, held a session and took out a rally. They are slated to go the apex court on Monday.
