All set to hold World XI T20s in NSK

KARACHI - After striving efforts made by Sindh Sports Minister, Dr MA Shah and his team, finally some hope of revival of International Cricket in Pakistan is developed.Dr Shah, the chief organiser of the event announced that World XI has agreed to play in Pakistan and play two T20 matches against Pakistan All Stars XI at National Stadium Karachi under lights on October 20 & 21. Former Sri Lankan captain Sanath Jayasuriya will lead World XI while ex-Pakistani skipper Shahid Afridi will be leading Pakistani side.Dr Shah said: “We have finalised all the arrangements to hold these matches in a befitting manner under tight security.”The teams will stay in the five star hotel and will have practice session at Karachi Gymkhana Ground on Oct 19, because of security reasons they would not be practicing in the stadium.“We will provide fool proof security to the visiting team,” said Sindh Governor Dr Ishrat-ul-Ibad. He expressed that the successful hosting of these T20 matches will be a great step towards revival of international cricket in Pakistan.
