Care and welfare teams of Customs Health Care Society (CHCS), maintaining their tradition of helping the hapless, helpless, powerless and ill-fated people, have reached Awaran, Balochistan, discharging commendable services in the areas hit hard by the recent earthquake.

The teams, led by Dr Asif Mehmood Jah, reached Awaran, the worst-affected district, along with medicines, tents, clothes, cash and other relief goods. The medical teams, comprising doctors and paramedical staff, are providing medical facilities to the quake victims.

Customs Health Care Society Chairman Dr Asif Mehmood Jah, in a statement, said they faced no problem while travelling to Awaran. He added their teams were facing no threats or any other problems while providing relief to the Awaran people. He rejected all the media reports in this regard.
