Italian MPs team to visit Pakistan in near future

ISLAMABAD To support the flood victims and economy of Pakistan members of Italian Parliament will visit Pakistan in near future. This was stated by Federal Minister for Minorities Shahbaz Bhatti while talking to TheNation on telephone from Rome on Wednesday. He said his meeting with the parliamentarians remained very successful. He added that all the members have shown solidarity with the flood affectees in Pakistan. The president of Italy-Pakistan Friendship Association has assured that Italy would support its level best to the people of Pakistan in such a testing moments, he said. Bhatti said that parliamentarians have assured him that they will mobilise business community of Italy to support Pakistans economic revival. He said that his visit to Italy remained very successful and it was in the best interest of the people of Pakistan. The pledged aid by Italy would help to overcome the problems of the victims, he added. To a question, he said that all the Christian charity organisations would especially play their role in the relief and rehabilitation of the flood victim citizens across the Pakistan. To another question, he said that he would attend the peace prize ceremony held at ancient university of the Naples city. The ceremony is about minority human rights, he added.
