Mani termed match fixer

ISLAMABAD (Online) - Former Test Cricketer Sarfraz Nawaz while terming former Chairman of ICC Ehsan Mani as a match fixer, has said that he has no link with the Pakistan cricket. Nawaz said that it seemed that Ehsan Mani had issued remarks on someones provocation, in while he had said that the series for the promotion of gamblers should be stopped. He held that the former ICC chairman had attempted to fix the World Cup match between Pakistan and India in 1999 and he had informed the concerned authorities in this regard. He said that by suggesting that PCB was not getting the message through Mani is presuming the guilt of the players under investigation. Mani would have been better advised to wait for the results of the Scotland Yard and ICC investigations into the matter. He said by issuing the irresponsible and premature statement Mr. Mani is ridiculing both the investigations that are ongoing. He said that the PCB had cooperated with the authorities at all junctures.
