LAHORE One person was crushed to death and another who had suffered multiple wounds in a road accident the other day breathed his last on Wednesday. As per details, a 40-year-old Mohammad Aashiq, resident of Link Road in Model Town, was crossing the road when a speedy vehicle hit him from behind as a result of which he suffered multiple wounds. He was rushed to the General Hospital where the doctors pronounced him dead while the driver along with his car fled from the scene. Later, Faisal Town police handed over the body to the City morgue for autopsy with no arrest till filing of this report. Meanwhile, a youth who had suffered multiple wounds during a road accident on the other day also breathed his last at General Hospital. Kahna police investigators said that the youth later identified as Hameed was hit by a speedy car and was shifted to the aforesaid hospital in critical state. A case has been lodged against unidentified driver with no arrest. Further investigations were underway. One dies A 70-year-old man, who was injured during a gunfire quarrel between two groups some days back, in Burki police precincts died on Wednesday. The deceased was identified as Jan Mohammad. He was admitted at the Services Hospital since then but the doctors pronounced him dead. Later, police shifted his body to the City morgue for autopsy. Further investigations were underway.
